Accessibility Statement
Last updated: [02/01/2026]
TravelPet.vet is committed to making our website accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to find information, contact us, and use our services without unnecessary barriers.
This website is owned and run by veterinary surgeons Dr Sarah Martin and Dr Tristan Martin, who also own and operate Battersea Square Vets in London.
Our approach to accessibility
We aim to make TravelPet.vet accessible in line with recognised accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, where reasonably possible for a small, independent service.
We consider accessibility when designing and updating our website.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We have taken steps to ensure that:
-
Text is clear, readable, and written in plain English
-
The site can be navigated using a keyboard
-
Pages have a clear structure with meaningful headings
-
Links are descriptive and easy to understand
-
Colour contrast is designed to be readable
-
The site works across different devices and screen sizes
We continue to review and improve accessibility as the site evolves.
Known limitations
As a small, independently run website, there may be areas where accessibility could be improved. For example:
-
Some images may not yet have full alternative text
-
Certain third-party tools or embedded content may be less accessible
We are actively working to address these where practical.
